Technical Assistance Forum

1. Purpose: The purpose of the forum is to provde support, guidance and assistance to Motor Home (MH) owners within the state membership when dealing with technical prolems related to their MH. It will provide a forum for owners to discuss problems and suggest ways the MH owner might approach Winnegago Industries and/or component and chassis manufacturers.

2. Leadership: Annually the President will appoint a chairperson.

3. Meetings: A meeting will be conducted at every state meeting after the General Meeting. Meetings will be open to all members and casual in nature with open discussion, questions and answers. It is anticipated that most questions will be answered within the state membership because of similar problems experienced that already have a solution.

4. Warranty Issues: It is imperative that warranty issues be dealt with by the MH owner and documented before the warranty expires. Unresolved problems may be referred to the Forum for assistance. If warranted, the chairperson may enlist the help of members to investigate a situation and prepare a written response under state letterhead to Winnebago Industries through Winnebago-Itasca Travelers (WIT).

5. Out of Warranty Issues: Issues that occur after the warranty expires that Winnebago Industries will not address should be referred to one of the below listed forums by the MH owner. Issues of this nature are welcome for discussion at the Forum meetings and assistance may be given to the MH owner in preparing correspondence.

6. Communication: The Forum chairperson will share information of general interest at state meetings with the approval of the President.
