"WINDSHIELD WASHER FLUID" BY MIKE SCHULER

2 shots Blue Curacao
14 shots Vodka
2 tubs of Crystal Lite Lemonade
3 quarts Club Soda

Mix carefully! Club soda will expand in the jug. Open very carefully to let some fizz out.


"THE JUICE" BY MIKE SCHULER

2 tubs of Orange-Pineapple Crystal Lite
16 shots of Coconut Rum
3 quarts Club Soda

TOPS Salad

1 can small green peas - drained
1 can Shoe Peg Corn (Mitchell's in white can) - drained
1 can French style green beans - drained
1 cup chopped celery
1 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup Canola oil ( I used less - maybe 1/4)
1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup sugar (can use Splenda)
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon pepper

Mix all together and chill overnight - keeps well in refrigerator


MABEL BROCK'S PINEAPPLE CASSEROLE

2 20oz. cans pineapple tidbits (drained - save juice)
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 1/3 cups flour
2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (fine)
1 1/3 sticks butter, melted
8 TBS pineapple juice
1 roll Ritz crackers, crushed

Spread pineapple in 13 X 9 baking dish Mix sugar, flour and cheese together and spread on top of pineapple Mix melted butter and juice and spread evenly. Top with crackers. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 - 30 minutes.


PASTA EASY BY CORNELIA MILLS

Your Favorite Pasta - something interesting in shapes and /or colored types -
Wacky Mac is one.
2 cubes beef or chicken bouillon
Lots of garlic salt
1 1/2 sticks of butter - go for the real stuff (FLAVOR)

Cook pasta in bouillon flavored water according to package directions. Drain. Add 1/2 + C of garlic salt, 1 1/2 sticks of butter stir while re-heating. Serve warm.

Serves 8 folks. If you need to do some ahead or time - boil water add pasta, cover and turn off the heat. Go to the club meeting, outing or whatever. Just before serving time: drain, add other things. and serve. Can make it a one dish meal by adding cut-up cooked meat and / or veggies...... most of all enjoy & be creative


PAT VELER'S SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE

1 pkg. (8 oz.) Philadelphia cream cheese, softened
1 can (40 oz) cut sweet potatoes, drained
3/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar, divided
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
1 cup chopped apples
2/3 cup chopped cranberries ( I used crasins)
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup old-fasioned or quick-cooking oats, uncooked
1/3 cup cold butter or nargarine
1/4 cup chopped Pecans

PREHEAT oven to 350 degrees. Beat cream cheese,sweet potatoes, 1/4 cup of the sugar and cinnamon with electric mixer until well blended. Spoon into 1-1/2 casserole dish or 10 x 6 inch baking dish. Top with apples and cranberries.

Mix flour, oats and remaining 1/2 cup sugar in medium bowl; cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Stir in pecans. Sprikle over fruit mixture.

BAKE 35 to 40 minutes or until heated through. Prep time:20 minutes
Makes 8 servings


PAT VELER'S SNACK TREAT SANDWICHES

1 pound hamburger
1 pound sausage
1 pound Velveeta cheese
1 pkg party bread squares

Cook and crumble hambuger and sausage. Drain well. Add Cheese and melt together. Spoon over Rye party squares bread. May be stored in the freezer. Heat approx. 10 minutes or until heated in 350 degree oven.


CORN SALAD BY ANNETTE BOYETTE

2 cans whole kernel corn
1/2 cup chopped green pepper
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 jar pimentos, drained
1/2 cup chopped onion
1/4 cup splenda
1/2 cup cider vinegar
2 tablespoons prepared mustard

Drain corn and add green pepper, celery, pimentos and onion. In separate bowl, mix together splenda, vinegar and mustard. Pour over corn mixture. For best flavor, let chill overnight before serving.


NO SUGAR ADDED CAKE BY ANNETTE BOYETTE

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

2 boxes Sweet'n Low yellow cake mix
1 1/2 cups water
1 can mandarin oranges and juice

Mix together and bake at 375 degrees use 2 layer pans. bake 25 minutes

ICING
1 medium container "lite" cool whip
1 box vanilla instant pudding (small)
1 can crushed pineapple in own juice, drained(do not use juice)
mix pudding mix and pineapple into cool whip--no liquid needed

SPRINGTIME CHERRY SPECIAL BY PAT VELER

Easy to make, easy on the pocketbook and delicious to eat.

Start with Nabisco Honey Maid Graham Cracker Crumbs -- follow directions on back of box to fill a 9 x 13-inch pan. Bake at 350 F for 15 minutes. While this is baking, prepare the following:

  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 8-ounce package Philadelphia cream cheese
Mix together and spread on cooled graham cracker crust. Sprinkle a layer of miniature marshmallows on top (just enough to cover, not a whole bag). Spoon 1 8-ounce carton Cool Whip over all. Spoon 1 15-ounce can cherry-pie filling over ingredients. Refrigerate a couple hours and enjoy.
