Misty Mountain Campground

The November campout was a Virginia State Meeting hosted by the Blue Ridge Winnies at Misty Mountain Campground. Seven coaches from the Dogwood Chapter attended. Friday evening the Blue Ridge Winnies hosted a hot dog supper, followed by bingo. Several of our members gathered around a campfire to chat and enjoy the evening.

On Saturday morning we had a wonderful breakfast provided by Misty Mountain Campground. After breakfast we had our chapter meeting followed by the general meeting. Afterwards, the McMillan's provided the Dogwoods with lunch. In the afternoon several members met at the meeting room and played pass the trash while others decided to relax or have a siesta before dinner and get out of the rain. In the evening Misty Mountain provided us with a BBQ dinner. A few members braved the cold wind and had a campfire, while others retired to their coaches.

Sunday morning we met for breakfast, which was followed by a church service. The next meeting will be at Calabash Seafood Restaurant on Sunday, December 14 at 5:00 p.m.
