Congratulations! You've logged into the web site of the Dogwood Winnies chapter of the Winnebago-Itasca Travelers, WIT, You probably own or are contemplating the purchase of a Winnebago product. Winnebago has an excellent standing in the industry and we would like to extend to your our congratulations on your choice! Your purchase makes you eligible for membership in the Winnebago-Itasca Travelers, WIT, and more specifically, the Dogwood Winnies Chapter.

We are a group of Winnebago and Itasca owners from central Virginia who go camping together at least once a month from March through November and meet for dinner during December, January and February. The thing we have in common is that we own a Winnebago product and we like to have FUN. Our diverse membership consists of retired and working people from all walks of life, such as military, technicians, executives, medical and management personnel and just about anything else you might imagine. We come in all ages too!

Our goal is having fun and enjoying our motor homes. The many benefits include meeting new friends, helping each other with motor home problems or potential problems, state rallies that offer seminars and planned activities, etc. We also help charities, our members, and others in need. Of course, we assist our state organization in putting on rallies.

We'd like to invite you to attend one of our camp outs to see if you'd like to participate in our happy group. Please check our Camp Schedule to find out about upcoming trips. Trips generally are Friday through Sunday on the third weekend of each month with a brief meeting during the camp out or dinner. We go to campgrounds and festivals all over Virginia and neighboring states. A typical weekend includes social hours, a trip to a local restaurant, a full breakfast or coffee and Danish in the mornings and a cook out or a potluck dinner in the evenings. We leave plenty of time for local sightseeing, games or just relaxing and conversation. This is for a meeting not connected with a festival, as we work around the festival schedule in that case. State Rallies have an agenda all their own with entertainment, seminars, games, meals and prize drawings, etc.

Please take a look at our website. If you have any questions email our president or webmaster.
