Friday night we had 9 coaches arrive from the Dogwood Winnies for the State Meeting at Holiday Travel Park which was hosted by the Cardinals. That evening there was a meet and greet followed by Bingo. The Dogwoods had a campfire and had a lot of fun. On Saturday the Cardinals provided breakfast. Later there was a book sale and silent auction. Some of our members went to the beach for a little while before lunch and the General Meeting. The Cardinals had a lunch for sale with all the proceeds going to the state charity. We gathered in the afternoon for our Chapter Meeting and to discuss upcoming events. Dinner was pot luck with all chapters participating in providing something for the evening meal for everyone to enjoy. Afterwards we had a campfire while some watched the Nascar race on TV outside or played cards. Sunday morning we gathered for breakfast and the devotional. All proceeds from this weekend will go to the state charities this year, which are the USO and Cystic Fibrosis. Our hosts did a great job. Everyone is looking forward to our next campout in June.
