DOGWOOD'S NEWS MISSIVE
Williamsburg Pottery Campground
May 16-18, 2008

The May campout was a Virginia State Meeting, hosted by the Peninsula Winnies. Ten coaches from the Dogwoods attended. Everyone gathered for social hour at 4:30 at the pavilion. Most of the group went out to our favorite Mongolian grill for dinner. After dinner some of the Dogwoods played games with the other State members at the pavilion.

Saturday morning the host club served breakfast and then the advisory board met along with the presidents meeting for the rally. Each club broke for their chapter meetings at 9:30 to review what took place in the advisory board meeting. The Schulers and Mills provided lunch for the club, then it was back to the pavilion for the General meeting. After the meeting, it was a beautiful day to just relax or go to the Pottery and shop. Each club brought soup, salad and desserts for dinner and there was plenty of fun things to sample. After dinner, some of the club members watched the Nascar race, while others enjoyed more games at the pavilion.

Sunday morning we enjoyed a continental breakfast, followed by a church service with music. Then everyone packed up and said their goodbyes until next time.
