Members play washer toss on Saturday afternoon

It was a very warm start to the 2006 camping season, unlike last year when we had snow. Some group members were even wearing shorts and flip flops.

Everyone met late Friday afternoon for the social, followed by hot dogs, chili and fish at 6:30 pm. After dinner, Pass the Trash was played, while some enjoyed watching race events on tv.

Saturday morning, a delicious breakfast of creamed chipped beef on biscuits was served. After breakfast the club meeting was held. Some went in to town for lunch, while others played washer toss, and some of the guys enjoyed some "washer fluid".

Social hour was at 4 pm, followed by a delicous BBQ dinner. Everyone brought a dish to pass. After dinner, another round of Pass the Trash was played. There was a roaring fire in the big fireplace and many members enjoyed watching the Busch race.

Sunday morning, everyone met for breakfast and said their good byes until April. Thank you to the Johnsons and the Mills for kicking off the season.

The April meeting will be held at Bethpage Campground on the 21st - 23rd. Please contact Bethpage by April 1, 2006 to make a reservation. Of course, tell them you're with the Dogwood Winnies. The discount fee is $26.29 per night.they have full hook ups, 50 amp service, cable TV and free WIFI internet.
