Twenty members of the Dogwood Winnies attended a delightful Christmas dinner at the magnificent home of Kevin and Rebecca Dodson, daughter and son-in-law of Mary and Leroy Wright.

This beautiful mansion, built in the 1800’s, was decorated beautifully for Christmas. Each room was spectacular and the huge tree in the dining room made dinner an unforgettable event.

There was a wine and cheese bar set up for the social at 5 pm, followed by dinner which was served around 6. It was very delicious. Our hats off to the fine chefs.

The meeting was very quick and everyone proceeded to enjoy their delicious dinner and talk about upcoming plans for the holiday travel season. Many of the Dogwoods will be leaving soon to head to Florida.

The party broke up around 9 and everyone said their goodbyes until next month's dinner.

The next dinner meeting will be held at the Calabash Restaurant in Mechanicsville on January 5th.
