| DOGWOOD WINNIES MINUTES Cozy Acres Campground Those Present Were: George & Linda Bakos John McMillan, President, called the meeting to order. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Duncan Mills. Since the minutes of the last meeting were posted online, John McMillan made a motion to dispense with the reading of the minutes, which was seconded by Harry Weakley, motion carried. Mike Schuler made a motion to accept the minutes of the last meeting, which was seconded by Leigh Anne Schuler, motion carried. Mary Wright read the treasurers report. Harold Moyer made a motion to accept the treasurer's report and was seconded by Brenda McMillan, motion carried. Health and Welfare Report: Frank Dance's cancer in his back is all gone. Frank Zimmerman is doing well after his surgery. Birthdays: Betty Lou Woolard 10/5 George Bakos 10/13 Anniversaries: Ted & Annette Boyette 10/3 Frank & Shirley Dance 10/17 Guests: Kevin Lawhorne & Melissa Hall Bill & Chris Osborne Committee reports: Mary Wright said to pick up your tablecloths at the barn. Annette Boyette said the balance for the Rally was $15,151.35, but she still had a lot to pay out, more will be announced at the next meeting. After the closing ceremony everyone needs to help clean up. Wagonmaster report: Mary Anne Moyer reminded everyone of the upcoming campouts. Oct. 15-18 th Bill Plemmons – will be free this year Oct. 23-25 th - Paradise Lake Family Campground. Nov. 13-15 -Thousand Trails in Glouster , VA - $60.00 will have to be sent to Ron Colbow Peninsula Winnies so he can make the reservations. Dec. to be announced Also think about 2010 when you want to host & where, so you can sign up in the book. Unfinished Business: 4:30 pm will be the swearing in of the Chapter officers in the large pavilion. We received the Chapter of Excellence for 2009; our chapter has won every year since its start up. If you were not here this weekend see John about your pins. Next month we will have an audit of our books for the state, we will need to have some members go over them. New Business: Dona Weakley made a motion to vote John & Christine Brunner as new members. Mary Anne Moyer seconded, motion carried. Motorhome Experiences: John Brunner received a call on his exhaust brakes that they might be programmed wrong. Leroy Wright needs to replace his 4” exhaust pipe, he said workhorse doesn't stock parts from the muffler back & is looking for a source.
