Harold Moyer, President called the meeting to
order. Duncan Mills led in the pledge of allegiance.
A motion was made by Mary Anne Moyer to dispense
from reading the minutes of the August meeting,
motion carried.
Cornelia Mills read the treasurers report. A
motion to accept the treasurer's report was
made, seconded and motion carried. Cornelia
announced that all members owe dues of $20 to
be paid after the meeting.
Health and Welfare Report:
Marilyn Chambers brother-in-law passed away.
Dona & Harry Weakley are on a trip thru New
England and are having a good time.

Audit Committe Report:
Ted Boyette and Frank Dance auditied the books
and reported that everything is in order.
Wagonmaster Report:
The members who are not going to Bill Plemmons
decided to have an alternate campout to take
place at American Heritage on the weekend of
October 7th. This meeting will be important
for planning the November State Campout. Six
coaches have signed up, some plan to camp, some
will come in for the day and stay for dinner.
Dinner will be bring you own steak, and a side
dish to pass.
The Campout at Bill Plemmons will be held from
October 17th - 23rd.
The Dogwoods are in charge of the November state
campout in November. This campout will be held
at American Heritage in Williamsburg and will
be $29/night. Please make your own reservations
by October 10. Phone number is 888-530-2267.
The signup book for 2007 was open for signups,
and there are still some open months.
Old Business:
The subject of how to handle dinner for the
State Campout was discussed, and a plan was
decided on. The State Dinner Sat. night will
be Share the Harvest, each chapter will be responsible
for a serving table, that will include crockpots
of hardy soup or stews, roll/bread, bowls, spoons,
etc. enough to serve their club plus extra.
The table will be decorated in a harvest theme.
Membership will serve themselves from all crockpots
and taste some of any they wish. 1st, 2nd and
3rd place ribbons will be awarded to chapters
for best decorations and taste. mary Wright
has volunteered to chair the dinner committe,
with Candy Swanson and Linda bakos offering
to help. Leigh Anne Schuler offered to handle
the breakfast committee, Annette Boyette offered
to help.
The fundraiser will be for Cystic Fibrosis and
the plan is to have a carnival theme for the
day. Hot dogs and drinks will be served for
lunch, with proceeds going to the cause. There
will be games set up all day with half of the
winnings going to the cause. George Bakos has
offered to head this committee, with Mac Parrish,
Harold Moyer and Cornelia Mills offering to
help.
New Business:
Mary Wright suggested that the group consider
changing the official uniform pants from white
to khaki since the white is tough to find, and
keep clean. This discussion was tabled until
more members are present to discuss.

50/50 winner: $83 was won by George Bakos at
the rally.
Thanks to the Mills for providing a delicious
clam chowder and sandwich lunch.
There being no further business, Leigh Anne
Schuler made a motion to adjourn the meeting,
motion carried.
