Wagonmaster (Trail boss) Report:
The Rally will be in September at Bethpage and will cost $105/coach. Each additional night is $22. It was noted that the price of the rally will go up after September 1.

The Dogwoods are in charge of the November state campout in November. This campout will be held at American Heritage in Williamsburg and will be $29/night. Ideas for the fundraiser are needed.

Old Business:
The Dogwoods will contribute $25 as a prize at the rally. For those participating in the flea market at their motor homes, 10% of the proceeds will be donated to the club.

New Business:
The Dogwoods won the Chapter of Excellence and pins were passed out to everyone.

Announcements:
Gene Veler suggested an idea to have a Homecoming campout next season and invite all former members to join us.

Advisory Board Suggestions:
At the state meeting, it was suggested that there be one less State meeting per year. The Dogwoods voted to accept this idea. It was also suggested that people should stand up when speaking and that the state should invest in a wireless mike.

Motorhome Experiences:
It was another session on tires. The Schulers blew a tire on the way to the Keys in July. Very fortunately for them, it happened in the parking lot of a tire store they just happened to stumble upon.

Gene Veler had to replace more tires as well, including his spare. He drove 4000 miles and the spare fell off in this driveway when he got home. Someone had installed it incorrectly and damaged the mount for the spare.

Joe Preissner blew a tire at the June campout, and he announced that Goodyear replaced the tire since it was defective.

50/50 winner: $14 was won by Donna Preissner.

Thanks to the Moyers for hosting, there was no charge for this campout.

There being no further business, Mary Anne Moyer made a motion to adjourn the meeting, motion carried.

Respectfully submitted,
Leigh Anne Schuler Secretary
