New Business:
Mike Schuler received a letter from Virginia McDaniel regarding the state elections. The situation involves changing the state constitution to more than one member of a club to be a state officer. Because of the shortage of volunteers, this has become a critical problem. Gene Veler felt is was unneccessary, since a member can join another club to get around the problem. But it was clear that Ed Potts was not interested in doing that, since he was presently a chapter president and didn't want to join another club. Gene has asked that we define the word "sufficient clubs" as the wording is unclear. Mike called for a vote and it was passed. He has mailed the form back to Virginia stating that we have agreed.
Mike suggested that we put together an inventory of all the equipment that the club owns so that we can keep better track of it. Harold has offered to be quartermaster and will pick up some plastic tubs to put things in such as coffee accessories and paper products. An inventory booklet will be put together so items can be accounted for and checked out as to who has what.
Unfinished Business:
The tent canopies were bought by Gary Harman at a cost of $50 each. Thank you Gary !! They were used for this meeting and everyone was impressed with the new tents. Harold volunteered to tote the tents since he is at most campouts.
The issue of the uniform was brought up again by Gene Veler. After much discussion, it was suggested that we keep the current uniform as is, with an option to wear khaki shorts and pants if
white is not available. Gene will write up a change to the constitution, and it will be mailed out prior to the September meeting, when it will be brought up for a vote. In the mean time, Pat Veler brought catalogs to look at for shirts and other articles of clothing in green that we might like. It was suggested that we put an order form on the website once the pieces are picked out. The color will remain kelly green with the white football logo, but will have some other options of shirts such as long/short sleeve and sweatshirts. There was confusion about when we are to wear the uniform. The uniform is to be worn at State meetings, rallies and the RV show in February. You can wear them other times as well, but that is the mandatory time to wear the green and white.
Wagonmaster Report:
The August campout will be at Holiday Trav-L-Park in Va Beach August 24-26TH. There was confusion about the date, this is the correct date. The agenda is posted at www.dogwoodwinnies.org. Please bring donated items for the SPCA as noted in the flyer that was mailed out. Also, we are responsible for providing salad and dessert for our table and decorate in an animal theme.
Announcements:
Pat Veler thanked Mike for putting her in touch with her long lost relatives, who they found from our website. Marilyn Chambers announced she no longer has email and that we need to snail mail her from now on.
Advisory Board Suggestions:

Joe Nicollela said he was having problems with a leaky faucet and vibration problems. He finally wrote a letter to Winnebago and they have helped him resolve his issues. Marilyn Chambers had some problems with her awning pole.
