The Dogwoods are responsible for the Bingo and friendship walk at the Rally in September. We need 3 baskets provided from our chapter. Please let Mary Anne Moyer know if you want to provide one.

Mike Schuler made a motion to buy daubers for the bingo night at the rally to sell if we can get them for a good price, which was seconded by John Brunner, motion carried.

New Business:

In May 2011 the Dogwoods will be responsible for hosting the State Meeting – we will need to find a campground and think about food to be served. Suggestions for campgrounds were American Heritage in Williamsburg and Smith Point Campground in Reedville.

Everyone has to have a green shirt & white shorts/slacks for state meetings.

It was suggested to put an order form on our website to order on line.

State Advisory Board Suggestions:

•  Advisory Meeting to be held early enough to report to Chapters, so their president can vote on.

•  Meet & greet for State meeting should be heavy appetizers or each chapter have their own supper, with bingo around 8:00 pm.

•  The State of Maryland is not having a rally this year, so the Virginia State President should do a written invitation to our Rally.

•  Sate Meeting agenda should be put out 1 month in advance with dates & times.

•  Discussed how everyone handles recruitments – it is posted on the state website as a brochure in PDF format.

Thank hosts: Joe & Sue Nicolella

Cost for host charges:

There was no cost per person this time.

Motorhome Experiences:

Zimmerman's are still working on some things from their power problems.

McGeorge had a Tech at the races to make any necessary repairs. It seems their service department has made a lot of improvements and the word is getting out.

The Brunner's said to check the drawer under your refrigerator if you have an ice maker, they had water in it and didn't know so it did some damage.
