| DOGWOOD WINNIES MINUTES Those Present Were: George & Linda Bakos Ted & Annette Boyette Kevin Lawhorne & Melissa & Jake Hall Duncan & Cornelia Mills Harold & Mary Anne Moyer Joe & Sue Nicolella Gene & Pat Veler Harry & Don Weakley (Saturday only) Tom & Betty Lou Woolard Leroy & Mary Wright Dan & Gail Young Mary Anne Moyer, President, called the meeting to order. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Joe Nicolella. Since the minutes of the February and March meetings were posted online, Gail Young made a motion to dispense with the reading of the minutes, which was seconded by Leroy Wright, motion carried. There were no additions or corrections. Harold Moyer made a motion to accept the minutes of the last meeting, which was seconded by Leroy Wright, motion carried. Mary Wright read the treasurers report. Annette Boyette made a motion to accept the treasurer's report and was seconded by Cornelia Mills, motion carried. Health and Welfare Report: Annette Boyette wanted to thank everyone for their cards and prayers. Harry Wealkley thanked everyone for all their prayers, cards and well wishes. Wagonmaster report: Joe Nicolella had the sign up book for everyone to look at. May 21-23 state meeting at Holiday Travel Park June 18-20 th at New Point RV Resort Unfinished Business: It was discussed that the March campout maybe we should do a restaurant instead of camping due to the low turnout and people still being in Florida . New Business: Harold Moyer said to notify host of campout if you are not going to attend and are signed up and not the president as they need to know regarding the head count. Dues of $20.00 is due before July 1, 2010 for next year members, please pay Mary Wright. If you are not going to be attending the next campouts you can send her a check. Mary Anne Moyer, President, brought up that a form letter should be made up for the campgrounds regarding the building, prices, dates etc. Joe Nicolella made a motion for Gene Veler to create such a form to be used and was seconded by Leroy Wright. Motion carried. State Advisory Board Suggestions: It was mentioned that at the State Meeting that the Advisory Counsel should be bring up if the State have a recruitment package that is to be used by the Chapters. Thank hosts: Mary & Leroy Wright and Gene & Pat Veler Cost for host charges: The cost per person was $10.00 Motorhome Experiences: The Zimmerman's had a power surge when they were doing the Relay for Life and lost a lot of appliances and outlets, they are in the process of getting it fixed. When the Velers we parked overnight at a Flying J when someone with a pontoon boat hit their side mirror. It will cost $454.48 to fix. The Bakos had their emergency brake freeze and had to get a new power steering pump put in. Announcements: Harry & Dona Weakley are selling their 2001 Winnebago Journey DL, it 36 ½ foot long, Model M-36LD, approx. 43,000 miles asking $79,900.
