Boyd Johnson, President called the meeting to order. Harold Moyer led the pledge of allegiance. A motion was made by Shirley Johnson to dispense from reading the minutes of the March meeting, motion carried. Cornelia Mills read the treasurers report. A motion to accept the treasurer's report was made, seconded and motion carried.

Health and Welfare Report:
Boyd Johnson thanked everyone for their cards, calls and prayers after his surgery. He is doing well and was able to attend the meeting.
Mary Wright lost her mother.
Shirley Dance has been sick with allergies. She had a series of shots and found out the is allergic to the outdoors.

Committee Reports:
Shirley Johnson has sent out many letters requesting door prizes and they are starting to trickle in. Anyone in the club is welcome to collect door prizes as well and would be appreciated.

The Nominating committee is still working on nominations.

Wagonmaster Report:
The May meeting is the State Meeting, which will be held at Christopher Run campground at Lake Anna. If you have not told Boyd you are going, it may be too late at this point. Remember if you have told him you are coming and have to cancel, please do so 14 days in advance or you will be responsible for paying. If you have an AA, AARP or Military, you can get a 10% discount.

The June campout will be held at Pocahontas State Park in Chesterfield. We have reserved 15 sites. PLEASE CALL BY APRIL 28 to make your reservations and pay. Phone number is 1-800-933-PARK. (Be sure to tell them you are with the Schulers). The cost is $24 per night and $3.00 per pet. Water and electric only, no sewer. Cancellation fee is $10 per campsite. Hosts will be the Schulers and the McMillans.

The July campout scheduled for Rockahock may be rescheduled for an earlier weekend. Notices will be emailed out.
Dan Young announced that the December dinner will be held at Byrams Lobster House on West Broad Street.

Old Business:
The Dogwoods will be hosting the November state campout. Please be thinking of a charity we can donate to for this meeting.

New Business:
Dan Young made a proposal to change the constitution to exempt the secretary from the two year in office rule. A vote was taken and it passed. Notices will be mailed out and a vote will be taken at the next meeting.

Announcements:
We will be updating the website to include recipes. Please submit your favorite recipes to Leigh Anne via email. Mike Schuler announced that the website now has google ads on it. If you are online and visit the website and click on one of the ads, the club will receive the proceeds.

Motorhome Experiences: Tom and Betty Lou Woolard have a NEW Vectra! Congratulations!!

50/50 winner: $13 was won by David Armstrong

Cost of this weekends’ campout was $8.00 per coach.

Thanks to the Youngs and the Harmons for hosting!

There being no further business, Shirley Johnson made a motion to adjourn the meeting, motion carried.
