| DOGWOOD WINNIES MINUTES
Calabash Seafood Restaurant Mechanicsville , VA December 14, 2008 Those Present Were: John & Brenda McMillan Joe & Sue Nicolella Leroy & Mary Wright Ted & Annette Boyette Harold & Mary Anne Moyer Ben & Donna Blanks Frank & Shirley Dance Duncan & Cornelia Mills Dan & Gail Young Frank & Diane Zimmerman Bill & Margaret Rickard John McMillan, President, called the meeting to order. The Pledge of Allegiance was lead by Joe Nicolella. Since the minutes of the last meeting were posted online, John McMillan made a motion to dispense with the reading of the minutes, which was seconded by Dan Young. Mary Wright read the treasurer's report. Cornelia Mills made a motion to accept the treasurer's report, which was seconded by Diane Zimmerman. Health and Welfare Report: Everyone is doing well at this time. Birthdays: Annette Boyette 1/31 Anniversaries: None Guests: Mrs. Wright (Leroy's mom) Mabel & Horace stopped by for the social hour Committee reports: Rally Committee reports after the New Year. Wagonmaster report: Mary Ann Moyer had the sign up book available; she asked that you think about 2009. March and July are still open for 2009. Unfinished Business: John McMillan will spoke with McGeorge about sponsoring our April meeting at Shenandoah Crossing in Gordonsville. It will probably be the weekend after Easter (18-19) and require a $50 deposit to be returned during the weekend. We would be required to attend a one hour meeting to receive the free weekend. We received thank you notes from the Central Food Bank and Madeline's House for the donations our club made. New Business: Richmond RV Show & Tell will be from February 13 – 15 th . Mary Anne will have a sign up sheet at the January meeting. State Advisory Board Suggestions: None Thank hosts: Leroy and Mary Wright Motorhome Experiences: Frank and Diane are still trying to get they warranty work done on their motorhome at McGeorge. Announcements: None 50/50 Winner: did not have one this month Next Meeting Date: Saturday, January 10 th at the Brickhouse Run, 209 Cockade Alley, Petersburg , VA. 804-862-1815 Social hour 5:30 pm and Dinner at 6:30 pm There being no further business Brenda McMillan made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Leroy Wright.
