DOGWOOD WINNIES MINUTES

CHRISTMAS DINNER, RICHMOND , VA

DECEMBER 9, 2007

Mike Schuler, President called the meeting to order. The Pledge of Allegiance was lead by Vice President, Cornelia Mills.

A motion was made by Harry Weakley to dispense from reading the minutes of the November meeting, seconded by Dan Young, motion carried.

Duncan Mills read the treasurers report. Copies of the treasurers report were handed out. Gail Young made a motion to accept the treasurers report, seconded by Mary Anne Moyer, motion carried.

Health and Welfare Report:

Ted and Annette Boyette lost their dog Tripp who was hit by a car.

Wagonmaster Report:

The January meeting will be held at Calabash Seafood on January 5 th , hosted by the Wrights.

The April meeting will be held at the NC State Rally, hosted by the Youngs. Visit www.northcarolinawit.org to find out more on the rally. Send your checks to the Youngs so they can send them all in together so we can park together.

Old Business:

State Treasurer paid back the club $84 for the dues that were to be returned to the clubs from the state.

The SPCA send a nice thank you card to the club for the donation last month.

New Business:

Guests Bill & Margaret Rickerd attended their second meeting and were voted in as new members.

None reported

There being no further business, Dona Weakley made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Harold Moyer, motion carried.
