Mary Anne Moyer, president, called the meeting to order. The Pledge of Allegiance was led by Joe Nicolella.
Since the minutes of the last meeting were posted online, Mary Anne Moyer made a motion to dispense with the reading of the minutes, which was seconded by Mike Schuler, motion carried.
There was a correction to the last minutes. The Books audited by Mike Schuler and Gene Veler were the Dogwood Treasury and not the Rally books. Also, under birthdays I spelt Pat Veler's name wrong.
Harold Moyer made a motion to accept the minutes of the last meeting, which was seconded by Ben Blanks, motion carried.

Annette Boyette wrote a check to WIT for $2,350.01 for the Rally and she will close out the Rally account after the bank statement is cleared. A big thank you goes to all the Dogwoods for all your hard work and job well done.
The State Audited the Rally books and everything was ok.
New Business:
Mary Wright made a suggestion to make up 15 Soldier Care Packages to be sent overseas for Christmas as our Charity this year. She has a friend whose son is in Afghanistan and he mentioned that there are a lot of soldiers that do not receive packages from home. A suggestion list will be sent out to everyone so they can choose the items they would like to purchase (15 of each – 1 for each box).
Mike Schuler made a motion that the Dogwood Winnies pay for the 15 Angel Boxes to be sent to the troops overseas at a cost of $12.00 each for every 12 x 12 x 5 box sent. Harold Moyer seconded, motion carried.
Diane Zimmerman made a motion that we get the list of names and each coach would pick one person to support during the year with either cards, packages etc. so they are receiving something from home. Mary Wright seconded, motion carried.
State Advisory Board Suggestions:
Joe Nicolella reported a suggestion was made that the host for the State Meetings make recommendations of things to do in the area while not in meetings.
