Committee reports:

Advisory board report:
The advisory board suggested that the seed money for the rally be increased to $2,000.
The advisory board suggested that every other year a state constitution be sent out. This was turned down and it will be given to the chapter presidents only.
The state will take on the responsibility of recruiting new members.
There was a recommendation that the location for the flea market and vendors row be as close as possible at the rally. Also, the state 50/50 and money hats will be allowed to roam.
The $4 special assessment was rescinded. A properly enacted amendment to the constitution will be carried out in order to raise the state dues.
A recommendation was made to do one charity per year, at only one state meeting. This was turned down. There will be one charity per year, but funds will be raised at each state meeting. The fiscal year begins in November, so that is considered the first fundraiser of the year, and was for Parkinsons. So, the state meeting for May and August 2008 will also be for Parkinsons.

Unfinished business:
none

New Business:

The Dogwoods will be in charge of the rally in 2009 and must let the State know by May 2008 what the plans are.
