Committee reports:
Joe Preissner will head up the Technical Assistance Forum in the spring.
Unfinished business:
The group was asked to vote on whether they wanted to reduce the number of state meetings from 4 to 3. After much discussion, the Dogwoods voted to keep it at 4. At the general meeting, all clubs voted the same way. The discussion regarding changing the uniform was tabled until next year. There were some complaints about having to pay $4.00 extra for coming in early at American Heritage.
New Business:
The Dogwoods are in charge of the state meeting and fundraiser in May. Since American Heritage already has a group coming in for that weekend, the location has been changed to Rockahock. Much more information to follow. The dates are May 18-20, 2007.
Motorhome experiences:
The Bakos flooded their motorhome when they left water running while having work done to their house.
Wagonmaster report:
The next get together will be at Byrams Lobster house on December 2nd, cocktails at 5, dinner at 6. Please let Dan Young know if you are going. The restaurant is located at 3215 W. Broad St. Directions and menu are available at www.byrams.com. The January meeting will be held January 13th at the Blue Point Fish Club in Short Pump, hosted by the Boyettes. More info to come.
Health and Welfare:
Tom Woolard has had rotator cuff surgery and is still in pain. Since this meeting, Harry Weakley was admitted to the hospital with internal bleeding, and has since returned home. He had a blood blister in the colon that burst, along with other complications.
There being no further business and lots to do to get ready for the day, Leigh Anne Schuler made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Harold Moyer.
Respectfully submitted
Leigh Anne Schuler, Secretary
