| DOGWOOD WINNIES MINUTES Brickhouse Run Restaurant Those Present Were: John & Brenda McMillan Joe & Sue Nicolella Leroy & Mary Wright Ted & Annette Boyette Harold & Mary Anne Moyer Duncan & Cornelia Mills Dan & Gail Young Mike & Leigh Anne Shuler John McMillan, President, called the meeting to order. The Pledge of Allegiance was dispensed with in respect of the other patrons as the restaurant was crowded. Since the minutes of the last meeting were posted online, John McMillan made a motion to dispense with the reading of the minutes, which was seconded by Joe Nicolella. Mary Wright presented the treasurer's report. The report was passed around as to not disturb the other patrons. Health and Welfare Report: David Short and Honorary Member passed away. Birthdays: Mary Anne Moyer 2/27 Anniversaries: John & Brenda McMillan 2/19 Guests: None Committee reports: None Wagonmaster report: Mary Ann Moyer had the sign up book available; she asked that you think about 2009. March and July are still open for 2009. The Show and Tell at the RV show will be the weekend of Feb 13-15 at the fairgrounds, there will be an email going out for sign up days and times. Unfinished Business: John McMillan spoke with McGeorge and they will sponsor our April meeting at Shenandoah Crossing in Gordonsville (website: www.shenandoah-crossing.com). It will be the weekend of April 17-19 th . You will not be required put down a deposit or to sit thru any one hour meetings for Shenandoah Crossing unless you choose to. McGeorge will also have several coaches there for us to view and will be inviting new people who have just purchase Winnebago's. They will provide dinner for us on Saturday evening. John McMillan proposed to have our second vote to change the Constitutional Amendment to collect member dues from September 1 st to July 1 st . A motion was made to accept the due date by Brenda McMillan and seconded by Joe Nicolella. We had a quorum of 16 members and they voted unanimously to accept the change to our Constitutional By-Laws. The amendment will read as follows: ARTICLE XI, Section 13 - ARTICLE VIII, Section 1, shall be changed to read: The fiscal year of the Chapter shall begin July 1 of each year and end the following June 30. The pro-rata dues for members in good standing the first fiscal year after adoption will be 75%. Further, ARTICLE IV, Section 2B, as amended by ARTICLE XI, Section 7, shall be changed by inserting the words "July 1" for the words "October 1".
