Wagonmaster Report:
The RV show will be Feb 9-11 at the Racetrack. Please give Mike Schuler your name ASAP if you plan to attend so he can get nametags for everyone. The Schulers will be there the whole time and will set up their camper with refreshments.
The next dinner meeting will be held February 17th at the Dolce Vita restaurant at Charter Colony at 5:00 pm. The McMillans will host, please let them know ASAP if you are coming.
The March meeting is still up in the air and there will be more info to come. (Since this meeting, Cornelia was able to get Christopher Run for the last weekend in March. Please email me ASAP if you can come, and the length of your unit).
Duncan Mills thanked Harold Moyer for working so hard to get the May meeting set up for Christopher Run.
New Business:
The Dogwoods are in charge of decorations for the rally this year. The theme is Jamestown 400 year anniversary. Mike Schuler suggested model ships for table decorations with maybe water and seashells. Cornelia Mills has done some research on this, more to come.
Mike Schuler has appointed a nominating committe for selecting the next set of officers. He will be asking John McMillan, Frank Dance and Cornelia Mills to serve.
The May State meeting will be a fundraiser again, hosted by the Dogwoods. Ideas are needed for a good cause.
There being no further business, Gail Young made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Leroy Wright, motion carried.
After the meeting ended, there was a postscript to be added to the minutes.
Regarding the fundraiser, the current idea is to have a 50's theme weekend. There will be movies shown all weekend to raise money. Hotdogs, candy and soft drings will be sold. John McMillan has offered to provide a projector and Mike Schuler will provide the computer and movies to run it. He is looking in to getting some movies in 3-d and getting the glasses. More to come on this project.
Respectfully submitted,
Leigh Anne Schuler
