Boyd Johnson, President called the meeting to order. Harold Moyer led the pledge of allegiance.A motion was made by Boyd Johnson to dispense from reading the minutes of the June meeting, seconded by John McMillan, motion carried.


Mary Wright read the treasurers report.

A motion to accept the treasurer's report was made by Dan Young, motion carried.


Health and Welfare Report:

The Woolards were pround to announce the new grandbabies were doing well, but still in the hospital.

Wagonmaster Report:


The next campout will be at Thousand Trails in Rustburg, it is a state meeting. Please call 1-434-332-6672 to make reservations for one nights camping. You must also send in the registration form to L.J. White. If you plan on having the catered dinner Saturday evening you must give Boyd a check made out to the Ye Ole Virginia Winnie Tascas for $8.53 for adult and $6.50 for children. Camping is $24.00 per night. Click here for the agenda and directions.


The September Rally will also be held at the Thousand Trails in Rustburg. The Dogwoods are in charge of parking.


There will be another September campout on Labor Day weekend at Rockahock. We have 8 sites reserved. Please contact Harold Moyer if you plan to attend.


The October campout will be held at Bill Plemmons in NC. Cost is $49 for the whole week and includes plenty of food.


Old Business:


Nominating committee will announce nominations for new officers at the August meeting.


The website was about to expire, so a vote was taken to upgrade to a larger site for a few dollars more a month. The website was approved and the site will be moved to the larger space, improvements will begin to follow shortly.


New Business:


New members Ted and Annette Boyette were voted in as this was their second campout. Shirley Johnson made a motion to accept them in and it was seconded by Harold Moyer.


A great big THANK YOU was given to Duncan and Cornelia Mills for hosting the Grandchildren Weekend with all the fun, food and activities.


50/50 winner: Betty Lou Woolard


There being no further business, Shirley Johnson made a motion to adjourn the meeting, seconded by Gene Veler, motion carried.
